Resources

RRT Licensure Exams

To become a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) you will have to pass the Therapist Multiple Choice (TMC) and Clinical Simulations (or Sims) exams from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). You’ll have the opportunity to take these exams after graduation, passing both with the appropriate scores qualifying you as an RRT.

You can find the NBRC website “here”, as well as more information on the TMC and Sims exams at the top of the “Examinations” page.

Exam Prep

There are a few prep guides that you may find useful. Some schools incorporate these guides into their curriculum, but you may find another resource most helpful to your own studies so we’re listing several good options here for you to check out.
